Bahati Nzuri! Kenyan Delegation

This wild bunch of monkeys are Kenya-bound with Nelson the Travelling Sock Monkey and his keeper, Donna Perdue of Michigan City, IN . Nelson and Donna will be documenting an agricultural development project for Agristewards, an NGO helping individuals, families, and their communities meet the basic needs of life through farming. Nelson will honor his sock monkey heritage by helping to spread the love and magic inherent to his species to places he visits in Kenya. Items on his monkey agenda include finding new homes for his OSM monkey pals and teaching the art of sock monkey-making to young and old. This is going to be amazing. Can’t wait to see pictures and hear stories!

The sock monkeys for this delegation were made by Youth Operatives in Ontario including monkey dynamo Jeffrey Cane and students from Elmwood School in Ottawa, Western Tech and Humberside Collegiate in Toronto, Huron Heights in Newmarket and the Township of West Lincoln.

Thanks to all of the  contributing Operatives and Good Luck Donna & Nelson – Bahati Nzuri
