Nelson the Sock Monkey in Kenya

Nelson The Travelling Sock Monkey is OSM’s newest Operative. Nelson and his keeper, Donna Perdue of Michigan City, Indiana will travel to Kenya in August as part of a project with Agristewards. Donna is a photographer and will be documenting an agricutlural development project. She’s a sock monkey enthusiast and while she’s in Kenya, she is planning to do some workshops in the community where she is staying  (With Nelson’s help, of course!)

Nelson and Donna will be taking a batch of OSM delegates along on their trip to be given to orphans and vulnerable children. Stay tuned for photos of the Kenyan delegates in their new homes!
