Ontario Bride -to-be Katherine, pictured here, celebrated the spirit of Craftivism and Global Citizenship with her Sock Monkey Stagette this past weekend.

Katherine has long been a patron and purveyor of craft and her friends surprised her with a sock monkey workshop  in honour of her upcoming nuptials. 8 sock monkeys were created as part of the celebration, and will soon be making their way to South Africa to bring smiles and laughter for families participating in the Sinovuyo Caring Families Project.
