Sock Birds with Seniors
Vancouver Operative Kat Thorsen spent a sunny summer Saturday afternoon bringing sunshine of a different kind to residents of Rideau Manor Retirement Home in in Burnaby, BC. Residents were invited to help Kat finish off a flock of sock birds soon flying south for winter to be a part of the continued development of the Sinovuyo Caring Families project in Cape Town, South Africa.
