OSM teams up with CWBUSA for Project Haiti

CWBUSA has just embarked on an expedition to Haiti and they’ve invited a select group of OSM delegates along for the adventure! They will embark on a 5 week training in Les Cayes and Grand Goave,  collaborating with Terre des Hommes, an international aid organization promoting children’s rights.  Seven volunteer artists will be working with a group of community leaders and children to  train in circus skills, physical comedy and psycho-social relief.

5 OSM delegates have been selected, one from each school participating in OSM workshops this year. The lucky monkeys will travel with the artists, brush up on their juggling skills and spread some smiles across the miles! Big thanks to the students of Grant McEwan Elementary in Calgary, Stephen Lewis Secondary School in Vaughn, , St Mary’s Secondary in Toronto, Bur Oak Secondary School in Markham, and Joshua Creek Public School in Oakville for their amazing Craftivism! Stay tuned for updates from the delegates in the coming weeks…
