Camp Sock Monkey in Beaverton, OR

Roll up your sleeping bag and pack up the s’more supplies: O.S.M is invited to be part of some serious summer fun this month! Participants from a summer camp in Beaverton, Oregon are stitching up some smiles in the form of socky simians to send to Haiti this winter with Clowns Sans FrontiĆ©res. The week long camp is participating in the Helping Hands project through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The Helping Hands project seeks to help communities be of service to those in need in various ways. The sock monkeys created in this camp are delightful and plentiful, more than 60 sock monkeys will be sent on a trip of love, peace and magic later this year.img_2157

Great Big Thanks to Janice Jensen and the Youth Leaders who helped to prep the sock monkeys for sewing and ran the workshop.
