Sock Monkeys for Social Justice
OSM was thrilled to be a part of Social Justice Day @ Huron Heights Secondary School in Newmarket, ON
The goal of Social Justice Day is to create a ripple effect among the students: presenting inspiring ideas to the student body and conveying the message of social justice and positive change through action. OSM was one of dozens of presenters invited to share our work, inspire, and be inspired in return. Participants learned the craft of sock monkey and will donate their first born to a monkey mission as part of OSM’s collaboration with L.I.B International and their India School Project.
