New Life for OSM
In November I received a message from U.S. Operative Vanessa Hayes-Quintana who had 500 sock monkeys to donate, made by students and staff at North Star Academy in Parker ,Colorado.
A few weeks later, I learned that World Harvest Missions and the New Life Childrens Home in Haiti were in desperate need of toys for Christmas. This was a match made in sock-monkey heaven! Vanessa boxed up her 500 sock monkey delegates and shipped them to WHM Headquarters in Florida, where they boarded an airplane bound for Port-au-Prince.
World Harvest also ministers to the refugee camps and settlements that are in abundance and experiencing extreme crisis with the recent Cholera outbreak.
OSM HQ will be sending additional groups of monkey delegates to WHM in the coming weeks to be distributed to orphans and vulnerable children lving in the refugee camps. Sock monkey Sponsorships purchased in the months of January & February will help these monkeys find their way to new homes.
