Some will go to summer camp in India with L.I.B. International , and others will escort a shipment of medical supplies to a new clinic being built in Niger, West Africa  in partnership with Pencils for Kids.

Meet one of our African delegates, a monkey called Hope, created by Breanna from Newmarket, ON.

The goal of Social Justice Day is to create a ripple effect among the students: presenting inspiring ideas to the student body and conveying the message of social justice and positive change through action. OSM was one of  dozens of presenters invited to share our work, inspire, and be inspired in return. Participants learned the craft of sock monkey and will donate their first born to a monkey mission as part of OSM’s collaboration with L.I.B International and their India School Project.

Thanks to all who participated, your hard work, creativity and focus will pay off in the form of smiles across the miles!
