Crafters of the world UNITE!
OSM’s call to action has been answered by a veritable chorus of crafters worldwide who are arming themselves with materials, instructions, inspiration and imagination to create an army of sock monkey pals for Project Njabulo (Njabulo=Joy) in Lesotho and Swaziland.
Those of you who are D-I-Y have already begun to send delegates, like the amazing Binti Villinger who sewed up this tangle o monkeys you see below and had them off to our courier in Conneticut in a heartbeat. Thanks Binti!
Others who are eager to get involved but more inclined to D-I-W-O ( Do It With Others) will be happy to learn of the upcoming Sock- Monk- a- thon in Toronto on June 6. Location: TBA. I’m working on it. If you know of a venue perfect for this typeof event, get in touch!
